CONHECENDO AS COMUNIDADES, FORTALECENDO SABERES.
O Projeto valorizando as localidades,
fortalecendo saberes foi desenvolvido na
E.M.E.F. Francisco Frömming, localizada no
4º Distrito da Cidade de São Lourenço do Sul,
na localidade de Harmonia, onde atualmente
atende 328 alunos da Educação Infantil – Pré
Escola ao 9º Ano do Ensino Fundamental, nos
turnos matutino e vespertino, na sua maioria,
descendentes pomeranos.O referido projeto
surgiu de a necessidade dos professores
conhecerem as localidades e a realidade em
que os alunos estão inseridos, pois se percebeu
o distanciamento da prática da sala de aula
do professor para a realidade contextual do
cotidiano dos alunos. O projeto proporcionou a
todos envolvidos a construção do conhecimento
levando em consideração as finalidades da
educação na busca de novas aprendizagens.
Valorizando a história das localidades que
integram a comunidade escolar, fortalecendo
a aproximação e integração com as mesmas.
Metodologia: observações, entrevistas,
pesquisas, comentários, registros escritos e
fotográficos, pesquisa de campo, maquetes,
visitas às localidades, evidenciando, assim,
os lugares mais significativos. Resultados:
explanação dos resultados das pesquisas
para a Comunidade Escolar, através de um
Seminário e edição do livro: “Conhecendo
as Comunidades, Fortalecendo Saberes”.
Conclusão: O desenvolvimento do projeto
fortaleceu a valorização das potencialidades
e da cultura da comunidade rural e dos povos
tradicionais, motivando os alunos a terem um
olhar crítico e transformador sobre o meio
onde encontram-se inseridos, os tornando
sujeitos reflexivos e construtores de saberes.
Valorizando, assim, seus educadores como
mediadores do processo.

Abstract:
The Project valuing the localities,
strengthening knowledge was developed
in E.M.E.F. Francisco Frömming, located in
the 4th District of the City of São Lourenço
do Sul, in the town of Harmonia, where he
currently attends 328 students from Pre-School
Education to the 9th Year of Elementary School,
in the morning and afternoon shifts, mostly
Pomeranian descendants. The mentioned
project arose from the need of the teachers to
know the localities and the reality in which the
students are inserted, because they perceived
the distance from the practice of the classroom of the teacher to the contextual reality
of the daily life of the students. The project provided all involved the construction of
knowledge taking into account the purposes of education in the search for new learning.
Valuing the history of the localities that integrate the school community, strengthening
the approximation and integration with them. Methodology: observations, interviews,
surveys, comments, written and photographic records, field research, models, visits
to localities, thus highlighting the most significant places. Results: explanation of the
research results for the School Community, through a Seminar and edition of the book:
“Knowing Communities, Strengthening Knowledge”. Conclusion: The development of
the project strengthened the valorization of the potentialities and culture of the rural
community and the traditional peoples, motivating the students to have a critical and
transformative look on the environment where they are inserted, making them reflective
subjects and constructors of knowledge. Valuing their educators as mediators of the
process.
