CONFINAMENTOS DE BOVINOS LEITEIROS NO BRASIL: CARACTERIZAÇÂO DOS PRINCIPAIS SISTEMAS INSTENVOS DE PRODUÇÃO
O confinamento de bovinos leiteiros em instalações intensivas tornou-se prática comum no mundo, sendo atualmente uma das principais estratégias utilizadas quando se deseja melhorar a produtividade do rebanho, notadamente em locais de clima tropical, como o Brasil. Desta forma, o objetivo dessa revisão de literatura foi realizar caracterização dos principais sistemas de produção de leite utilizados no Brasil. Os sistemas para a produção de leite podem ser caracterizados, principalmente pelos métodos de produção, dentre os quais podem ser evidenciados os sistemas extensivos, semi- extensivo, intensivo, a escolha do tipo de sistema de produção vai depender da realidade econômica e tecnológica de cada propriedade leiteira. Enfatiza que diversos são os fatores envolvidos no planejamento das instalações para bovinos leites e todos tem o mesmo intuito comum que consiste na melhoria dos índices produtivos e assegurar a saúde do rebanho, promover conforto térmico e, por consequência promover o bem estar animal.

Abstract:
The confinement of dairy cattle in intensive facilities has become a common practice in the world, currently being one of the main strategies used when one wants to improve herd productivity, notably in places with a tropical climate, such as Brazil. In this way, the objective of this literature review was to characterize the main milk production systems used in Brazil. The systems for milk production can be characterized mainly by the production methods, among which the extensive, semi-extensive, intensive systems can be highlighted, the choice of the type of production system will depend on the economic and technological reality of each dairy farm. It emphasizes that there are several factors involved in the planning of facilities for dairy cattle and all of them have the same common purpose, which is to improve production rates and ensure the health of the herd, promote thermal comfort and, consequently, promote animal well-being.
