CONFECÇÃO DE LÂMINAS HISTOLÓGICAS PERMANENTES DE Aristolochia arcuata (Aristolochiaceae) UTILIZADAS NA MEDICINA POPULAR
O estudo objetivou caracterizar
anatomicamente Aristolochia arcuata para a
utilização como apoio didático nas disciplinas
de Histologia e Anatomia Vegetal. Amostras
foliares de A. arcuata foi coletada em uma
propriedade particular, sendo escolhida a região
mediana da lâmina foliar e pecíolo. As secções
transversais, longitudinais e paradêrmicos
foram obtidas à mão livre com o auxílio de
lâmina de barbear e coradas com azul de astra
e fucsina. As imagens foram capturadas com
auxílio de um fotomicroscópio Leica DMLB. O
pecíolo apresenta epiderme uniestratificada,
elevado número de tricomas, colênquima,
parênquima fundamental com feixes vasculares
dispostos em formato circular. A lâmina foliar
é hipoestomática e apresenta epiderme
uniestratificada, com estômatos tetracíticos e
anomocíticos. O mesofilo é dorsiventral e os
feixes vasculares são colaterais com presença
de calotas de fibras. A espécie possui amplo
potencial didático, podendo ser utilizado em
aulas, visando a detecção de tricomas tectores,
estômatos anomocítico, colênquima lacunar e
lamelar, mesofilo dorsiventral e feixe vascular
colateral.

Abstract:
The study aimed to anatomically
characterize Aristolochia arcuata for use as
didactic support in the disciplines of Histology
and Plant Anatomy. Foliar samples of A. arcuata
were collected in a private property, the median
region of the leaf blade and petiole being chosen.
The transverse, longitudinal and paradermic
sections were obtained by hand with the aid of
a razor blade and stained with astra blue and
fuchsin. The images were captured with the
help of a Leica DMLB photomicroscope. The
petiole presents unstratified epidermis, high
number of trichomes, colenchyma, fundamental
parenchyma with vascular bundles arranged in circular format. The leaf blade is
hypoestomatic and presents unstratified epidermis with tetracytic and anomocytic
stomata. The mesophyll is dorsiventral and the vascular bundles are collateral with
the presence of fiber caps. The species has broad didactic potential, and can be used
in classes, aiming at the detection of tectonic trichomes, anomocytic stomata, lacunar
and lamellar collenchyma, dorsiventral mesophyll and collateral vascular bundle.
