CONEXÕES PARA FORMAÇÃO DOCENTE NO TOCANTINS: CONTRIBUTOS DA EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA
A cada ano a educação a distância
(EaD) alarga seus horizontes no Brasil como uma
modalidade válida, necessária e que em muito
contribui para a formação de educadores, exigindo
uma nova postura do professor, do cursista,
dos gestores e de toda a instituição educativa,
alterando as relações entre os sujeitos envolvidos
no processo de ensino-aprendizagem. A partir
desta pesquisa objetivamos conhecer a percepção
dos cursistas sobre o perfil do educador em EaD;
as contribuições da relação professor da EaD e
professor cursista da EaD no desenvolvimento da
aprendizagem durante o curso e a percepção sobre
a dualidade qualidade x quantidade no ensino a
distância. Os sujeitos da pesquisa são professores
efetivos da rede pública estadual da educação no
Tocantins inscritos no curso de Tutoria em EaD
ofertado na plataforma Moodle da Seduc. As
conclusões permitem evidenciar, na percepção
dos cursistas, a significativa contribuição da EaD
no desenvolvimento do ensino-aprendizagem e
a relevância do enfrentamento das dificuldades
no ensino a distância, o que nos levou a reflexão
sobre as possibilidades da utilização dos diversos
recursos tecnológicos para a implementação das
formações de professores por meio da EaD.

Abstract:
Every year the distance education
expands its horizons in Brazil as a valid modality,
also necessary, which largely contributes for the
teachers’ formation, requiring a new posture
from the teacher, the student, the managers and
of all education institute, changing the relations
between the subjects involved in the teaching and
learning process. From this search we aim to know
the perception of the students about the profile of
the distance education teacher, the contributions
of the relation teacher-student in the learning
development during the course, and also the
perception about the dualism ‘quality vs quantity’ in the distance education. The subjects
of this search are the teachers of the public schools in Tocantins enrolled in the Course of
Tutoring in Distance Education, offered in the SEDUC’s Moodle platform. The conclusion
allow us to point, in the students’ perception, the significant contribution of the distance
education in the development of the teaching and learning process and the relevance of
coping with the difficulties in the distance education. Also lead us to the observation about
the possibilities of the utilization of several technological resources to implementation of
the teachers’ formation through distance education.
