CONDIÇÕES DE CONFORMIDADE AMBIENTAIS DA AVICULTURA DE CORTE: UM ESTUDO DE CASO DO MUNICÍPIO DE SÃO DOMINGOS DO SUL - RS
A avicultura de corte é uma atividade agropecuária presente e significativa na região Noroeste do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, se configurando um importante desafio principalmente no manejo ambiental frente à promoção do desenvolvimento rural sustentável. O presente artigo busca problematizar sobre a situação de conformidade ambiental dos estabelecimentos produtores de aves de corte no município de São Domingos do Sul- RS. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida com a aplicação de questionários aos agricultores familiares produtores de aves de corte do município objeto de estudo. Sendo assim, identificou-se que os agricultores apresentam preocupação com os aspectos ambientais envolvidos em suas atividades produtivas, buscando licenciamento ambiental, manejando conforme prevê a legislação os dejetos avícolas e realizando o Cadastro Ambiental Rural. As conclusões apontaram que a maioria dos estabelecimentos estão à legislação ambiental.

Abstract:
Cutting poultry farming is a significant and present agricultural activity in the Northwest region of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, creating an important challenge, mainly in environmental management, in the face of the promotion of sustainable rural development. This article seeks to problematize the environmental compliance situation of poultry farms in the municipality of São Domingos do Sul, RS. The research was developed with the application of questionnaires to the family farmers producing the cut birds of the municipality under study. Thus, it was identified that farmers are concerned with the environmental aspects involved in their productive activities, seeking environmental licensing, managing as provided by the legislation poultry manure, carrying out the Rural Environmental Cadastre. The conclusions pointed out that most establishments are in environmental legislation.
