Abstract: This work identifies and systematizes the Brazilian scientific empirical production on the insertion of lesbians, gays and bisexuals in Brazilian organizations. The methodology of systematic literature review used was the proposal “Principais Itens para Relatar Revisões Sistemáticas e Meta-análises” (PRISMA). The results allowed us to identify twenty-four articles, from which it is possible to analyze and systematize that the insertion of lesbians, gays, and bisexuals in contemporary Brazilian work organizations is marked by at least six characteristics: (i) heteronormativity taken as a norm; (ii) diversity policies that have only relative efficiency; (iii) lesbians, gays and/or bisexuals adopt strategies to elaborate discrimination, however they observe contradictory consequences; (iv) sex discrimination is associated with other factors of discrimination; (v) there is professional mismatch and subjective impacts resulting from discrimination; (vi) sexual discrimination takes on different faces.
