CONDICIONANTES GEOGRÁFICOS DO MUNICÍPIO DE BARRA DOS COQUEIROS E PERSPECTIVAS PARA DESENVOLVIMENTO TURÍSTICO LOCAL.
Barra dos Coqueiros é um município brasileiro do estado de Sergipe, localizado na Região Metropolitana de Aracaju no leste do estado. Nesse município há um grande potencial turístico em função das praias existentes e de um conjunto de paisagens naturais que pode ser explorado de forma sustentável quanto aos aspectos ambientais. Devido a beleza de suas paisagens e da proximidade com a capital, houve um crescimento dos condomínios de luxo no município, onde pessoas de um bom poder aquisitivo buscam o bem estar no ambiente familiar e fora da rotina do trabalho. A construção da termoelétrica também poderá influenciar outros investimentos, apesar de ser na área industrial, também poderá melhorar o desenvolvimento econômico e isso influenciará no crescimento turístico, sendo que esse crescimento só terá respaldo da comunidade se levar em consideração os aspectos sociais, econômicos e ambientais.

Abstract:
Barra dos Coqueiros is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Sergipe, located in the Aracaju Metropolitan Region in the eastern part of the state. In this municipality there is a great tourist potential due to the existing beaches and a set of natural landscapes that can be explored in a sustainable way regarding the environmental aspects. Due to the beauty of its landscapes and the proximity to the capital, there was a growth of luxury condominiums in the municipality, where people of good purchasing power seek the well being in the family environment and outside the routine of work. The construction of the thermoelectric can also influence other investments, despite being in the industrial area, may also improve economic development and this will influence tourism growth, and this growth will only have support from the community if it takes into account the social, economic and environmental aspects.
