CONCEPÇÕES DE MORTE E MORRER DE DOCENTES DO CURSO DE CIÊNCIAS DA RELIGIÃO DA UERN: A VIDA, VALOR ABSOLUTO
Nas discussões sobre a morte, essa é considerada um tema interdisciplinar, porque, além de ser objeto de estudo das mais variadas áreas do conhecimento, expõe a complexidade das relações e da própria composição dos sujeitos, sempre determinantes na reflexão sobre a finitude humana e a brevidade da vida no sentido amplo do termo e das suas próprias existências. Frente a esse cenário, o estudo em apreço teve por objetivo identificar as percepções de morte e morrer de professores do Curso de Ciências da Religião da UERN e como estas influenciam nas suas práticas docentes e no próprio processo formativo do qual são responsáveis e a partir do qual, em alguma medida, precisam lidar com a questão, já que lidam com o ensino, a produção de conhecimentos e a reflexão sobre as religiões e as espiritualidades, que são pródigas em produzir narrativas, teorias e arrazoados sobre o tema. O estudo caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa com abordagem qualitativa de cunho exploratório, realizada por meio de questionários semiestruturados e por entrevistas gravadas, aplicadas a cinco professores do quadro efetivo do Curso de Ciências da Religião da UERN. Os dados apontam que os colaboradores foram unânimes em responder que, ao tratar sobre morte e morrer, o que de fato importa é a vida, porque esta experiência é absoluta, independentemente do credo e das ideias que se possam ter acerca da sua concretização.

Abstract:
In discussions about death, this is considered an interdisciplinary topic, because, in addition to being an object of study in the most varied areas of knowledge, it exposes the complexity of relationships and the composition of subjects, always decisive in the reflection on human finitude and the brevity of life in the broad sense of the term and of their own existences. In view of this scenario, the present study aimed to identify the perceptions of death and dying of professors of the Religious Sciences Course at UERN and how these influence their teaching practices and the training process for which they are responsible and from the which, to some extent, they need to deal with the issue, as they deal with teaching, the production of knowledge and reflection on religions and spiritualities, which are prodigal in producing narratives, theories and reasoning on the subject. The study is characterized as a research with a qualitative approach of an exploratory nature, carried out through semi-structured questionnaires and recorded interviews, applied to five professors of the effective staff of the Sciences of Religion Course at UERN. The data show that the collaborators were unanimous in answering that, when dealing with death and dying, what really matters is life, because this experience is absolute, regardless of the creed and ideas that one may have about its realization.
