COMUNICAÇÃO SENSÍVEL COMO ESTRATÉGIA DE MOBILIZAÇÃO PARA DOAÇÃO DE ÓRGÃOS E TECIDOS PARA TRANSPLANTE: A EXPERIÊNCIA DO PROGRAMA DE EXTENSÃO ComSaúde
Apesar de o Brasil ter um dos
maiores sistemas de transplantes do mundo,
persistem atrasos na sensibilização e captação
de órgãos e tecidos. O governo e a população
são responsáveis pela carência de iniciativas
sobre o tema acarretando o desconhecimento
generalizado sobre o processo de doação de
órgãos (DO), evidenciado pela elevada recusa
familiar. Logo, o profissional da saúde como
educador pode modificar a opinião pública
frente aos conceitos equivocados, e comunicarse com sensibilidade com a família do doador
no momento do luto. O projeto “Comunicação
Sensível no Cuidado em Saúde”, que integra
o programa de extensão ComSaúde, da
Universidade de Passo Fundo – o qual busca
fomentar a formação interprofissional a partir de
vivências e estudos -, subdivide-se em temáticas,
sendo umas delas a Doação de Órgãos e
Tecidos para Transplante (DOTT). Através da
humanização do cuidado, do desenvolvimento
de ações que primam pelo protagonismo
estudantil, busca-se, informar sobre o processo
de doação, bem como conscientizar sobre a
importância do ato de doar. Esse relato visa
descrever as intervenções realizadas junto à
população, bem como na formação acadêmica
da área da saúde, sobre a temática da DO para
transplantes

Abstract:
Even though Brazil has one of
the largest transplant systems in the world,
there is still awareness resistance and delays in organ and tissue harvesting. The government and the population are responsible
for the lack of initiatives on the subject, causing widespread unconsciousness about
the organ donation process, evidenced by the high family refusal. Thereby, the health
professional as an educator can change public opinion on misconceptions and, with
compassion, communicate with the donor’s family in the moment of grief. The project
“Sensitive Communication in Health Care”, belongs to the program “ComSaúde”,
created by Universidade de Passo Fundo – which aims to promote interprofessional
training combining hands-on experiences and studies -, it is subdivided into themes,
one of them being the Organ and Tissue Donation for Transplant. Thus, through
the humanization of care and the development of actions that emphasizes student
protagonism, we attempt to raise awareness about the donation process, as well as
bring to light the importance of the donating act. Therefore, this report aims to describe
the interventions performed with the population, as well as in the academic training of
the health care area, on the subject of organ donation for transplant.
