COMPROMISSO SOCIAL, CONSTRUÇÃO DE VALORES E A SUPERAÇÃO DO TROTE ACADÊMICO
Este trabalho apresenta uma
experiência de trote solidário desenvolvida
na Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro
- Campus Universitário de Iturama, por um
grupo de discentes com a colaboração de
docentes. Após a identificação da existência
de relações conflituosas, por vezes negativas
ou indiferentes, entre a universidade e a
comunidade em geral, foram desenvolvidos
uma série de eventos que envolvessem a
comunidade acadêmica com demandas diretas
da comunidade externa. Foram realizadas
reflexões de cunho teórico e avaliativo sobre as
ações na expectativa de inspirar outras ações
e contribuir para o aprimoramento da proposta.
Foram desenvolvidas as seguintes ações
ao longo do ano de 2018: UFTM Solidária;
Gincana do Acolhimento; Inverno Sem Frio;
Natal, Solidariedade em Ação. Participaram
alunos ingressantes e veteranos dos cursos
de Licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas,
Licenciatura em Química e Agronomia. A
experiência proporcionou o estreitamento das relações da universidade com a
sociedade na qual está inserida, promovendo ainda um posicionamento justo e
humanitário entre os alunos. O trabalho contribuiu ainda para a prevenção de ações
violentas, preconceituosas e excludentes entre os universitários e destes com a
comunidade.

Abstract:
This paper presents an experience of solidary trot developed at the Federal
University of Triângulo Mineiro - Iturama University Campus, by a group of students
with the collaboration of university teachers. After identifying the existence of conflicting,
sometimes negative or indifferent relations, between the university and the community
in general, a series of events were developed that involved the academic community
with direct demands from the external community. Theoretical and evaluative reflections
were made on the actions in the expectation of inspiring other actions and contributing
to the improvement of the proposal. The following actions were developed throughout
2018: Solidary UFTM, Gymkhana of Welcoming; Hot Winter; Christmas, Solidarity
in Action. Participating students and veterans of the Degree in Biological Sciences,
Degree in Chemistry and Agronomy. The experience provided the approximation of
the university's relations with the society in which it operates, promoting a fair and
humanitarian position among the students. The work also contributed to the prevention
of violent, prejudiced and exclusionary actions among university students and with the
community.
