COMPREENDENDO A EXPERIÊNCIA DE CUIDAR DA CRIANÇA COM CARDIOPATIA CONGÊNITA
Objetivo: Compreender a experiência vivenciada pelo cuidador da criança com cardiopatia congênita. Método: Pesquisa descritiva exploratória, de abordagem qualitativa, realizada no ambulatório do Programa Einstein na Comunidade de Paraisópolis (PECP), com 21 cuidadores de crianças com cardiopatia congênita. Utilizouse a entrevista semiestruturada para coleta de dados, que foram analisados por meio da técnica de Discurso de Sujeito Coletivo (DSC). Resultados: Foram identificados 11 DSCs, agrupados em três categorias. Muitas dificuldades são enfrentadas pela pessoa que cuida da criança com cardiopatia, gerando mudanças significativas na rotina da família após o impacto do diagnóstico. A responsabilidade pelo tratamento recai sobre ele, que busca adaptar-se à situação, contando com o apoio dos familiares e da fé em Deus. Considerações finais: O presente estudo traz subsídios importantes que apontam para a necessidade de se reavaliar a abordagem do cuidador pela equipe de saúde, contribuindo para a continuidade do tratamento da criança.

Abstract:
Objective: Understand the experience faced by the caregiver of a child with congenital heart disease. Method: Descriptive exploratory research, using qualitative approach, performed in the ambulatory of the Einstein Program in the community of Paraisópolis (EPCP), with 21 caregivers of children with congenital heart disease. It was used the semi-structured interview for the data collection, which were analyzed by means of the Collective Subject Discourse (CSD). Results: 11 CSDs were identified and assembled into tree categories. Many difficulties are faced by the person who takes care of a child with heart disease, generating significant changes in the family routine after the impact of receiving the diagnosis. The responsibility for the treatment falls on him or her, which seeks to adapt to the situation, with the support of family and faith in God. Final considerations: This study brings important subsidies that point to the need to reevaluate the approach of the health team to the caregiver, contributing to the continuity of the child›s treatment.
