COMPLEMENTAÇÃO DE RENDA ATRAVÉS DA COLETA EXTRATIVISTA DE ESPÉCIES NATIVAS DO CERRADO: O BARU COMO ESTUDO DE CASO
Devido às mudanças que vem
ocorrendo nos sistemas de produção agrícola,
é crescente o número de assentamentos da
reforma agrária que são formados por grupos
de trabalhadores rurais, que buscam ter acesso
e posse das terras através do reordenamento
agrário. Além disso, precisam contar com a
ajuda de políticas públicas e econômicas para
que possam estabelecer-se na terra e dela
tirarem renda de forma sustentável. O presente
artigo tem como objetivo mostrar a relevância
das práticas extrativistas e da pluriatividade
como atividade econômica importante, seja
através da coleta e beneficiamento de frutos
nativos, seja através da conservação de outras
espécies nativas do próprio Bioma Cerrado.
As informações foram coletadas através de
pesquisa de campo em áreas de vulnerabilidade
ambiental do assentamento Egídio Brunetto,
em Flores/GO. Pode-se constatar que mesmo
diante de muitas dificuldades socioeconômicas,
os agricultores assentados buscam melhoria
de renda e tentam persistir no meio rural,
conciliando suas atividades agrícolas com
atividades extrativistas, mantendo suas
culturas, evitando o êxodo rural e conservando
a biodiversidade local. O destaque do estudo
de caso de extrativismo é referente à espécie
nativa do Baru.

Abstract:
Because of chances that are
occurring on the production systems of
agriculture it’s growingthe numberof agrarian
reform settlements, that are formed by farmer
workersgroups, whose are looking for access
and possetion of the earth through the agrarian
reorder. Besides, they needto count with public
politics, and economic helps to be stablished at
the territory, and gain money in a sustainable way. The present article mains to show
the importance of extrativism practice and the multiactivity important economic activity,
been through the collector benefying native fruits, or through the conservation of other
native species of the Bioma Cerrado itself. The following informationwascollectedthrough
fieldresearch in ambientalvulnerabilities areas of the settlement Egídio Brunetto at
the city of Flores GO. We could verify that even behind a lot of social and economic
difficulties, the settlement farmers are cooking for better conditions of life, and trying
to continue at the rural life, reconciling their agricultural activities with extra activities,
maintaining their culture,avoiding the rural exodus and conservingthe local biodiversity.
