Abstract: The school environment must provide students with access to the various linguistic, interpersonal, intergroup and sensory knowledge necessary for the exercise of citizenship, which is an inalienable right for all. This research has the general objective of investigating the importance of using games and dynamics in elementary school to activate socio-emotional skills. It is an exploratory study based on bibliographic research and enriched with field research carried out by the application of questionnaires in a qualitative way in a state school. The results indicate that socio-emotional skills have significant importance in school experience and need to be included in the curriculum in the most varied stages of basic education, since they can become a source of strengthening new learning, promoting the opportunity to strengthen the integral human being.
