COMPETÊNCIAS DE INVESTIGAÇÃO QUE OS ESTUDANTES DE MESTRADO TÊM ANTES DE ENTRAREM
As exigências académicas e sociais levaram à incorporação de competências de investigação nos cursos de bacharelato e mestrado. Este estudo reflecte a percepção do nível de aquisição destas competências pelos estudantes que se inscreveram nos cursos de mestrado da Faculdade de Educação, a fim de avaliar a necessidade de formação prévia em investigação. Além disso, identificou não só o nível que consideram possuir, mas também o nível que pensam que deveriam ter para poderem estudar adequadamente estas pós-graduações. Esta investigação é um estudo avaliativo e descritivo no qual foi elaborado e aplicado um questionário ad hoc aos estudantes que estão a estudar para o Mestrado na Faculdade de Educação da Universidade de Múrcia. Os resultados obtidos mostram que o nível de aquisição de competências em investigação é significativamente inferior ao nível que consideram que deveriam ter para poderem desenvolver os temas normalmente. Existem diferenças estatisticamente significativas entre os estudantes que vêm de cursos de Educação Infantil e Ensino Primário e aqueles que estudaram Pedagogia ou Educação Social. Em vista disto, são propostas diferentes soluções que devem ser tidas em conta a fim de alcançar uma maior qualidade educacional.

Abstract:
Academic and social demands have led to the incorporation of research skills in bachelor's and master's degrees. This study reflects the perception of the level of acquisition of these skills by students who have enrolled in the Faculty of Education's master's degree courses to assess the need for prior training in research. In addition, it has identified not only the level they consider they possess but also the level they think they should have in order to be able to properly study these postgraduate degrees. This research is an evaluative and descriptive study in which an ad hoc questionnaire has been elaborated and applied to students who are studying Master's degrees at the Faculty of Education of the University of Murcia. The results obtained show that the level of acquisition of competencies in research is significantly lower than what they consider they should have in order to be able to develop the subjects normally. There are statistically significant differences between students who come from Infant Education and Primary Education degrees and those who have studied Pedagogy or Social Education. In view of this, different solutions are proposed that must be taken into account in order to achieve greater educational quality.
