O objetivo do presente estudo

foi comparar os efeitos de dois tipos de som

(música devocional/religiosa e ruído de estática)

sobre a germinação de sementes de abobrinha

italiana (Curcubita pepo). Realizaram-se duas

repetições do experimento, sendo que, em cada

repetição, uma amostra de 60 sementes de

abobrinha italiana (Curcubita pepo) foi dividida

igualmente nos seguintes grupos: 1) GE1

(exposição ao ruído de estática por 12 horas);

2) GE2 (exposição à programação musical

devocional/religiosa de rádio católica por 12

horas) e 3) GC (sem exposição ao som). Houve

diferença significativa entre os comprimentos

das radículas das sementes germinadas

(F(2,117)=44,786, p<0,001) dos três grupos. O

efeito da programação musical devocional/

religiosa sobre o crescimento das radículas de

abobrinha italiana foi significativamente superior

ao do ruído de estática e à da ausência de som.

Abstract:
The objective of the present

study was to compare the effect of two types

of sound (devotional/religious music and static

noise) on the germination of Italian zucchini

seeds (Curcubita pepo). Two repetitions of

the experiment were performed, and in each

repetition, a sample of 60 seeds of Italian

zucchini (Curcubita pepo) was equally divided

into the following groups: 1) GE1 (exposure to

static noise for 12 hours); 2) GE2 (exposure to

devotional/religious music radio programming

for 12 hours); and 3)GC (no exposure to sound).

There was a significant difference between the

radicles lengths of the germinated seeds in all

groups (F(2,117)=44,786, p<0,001). The effect

of devotional / religious music programming

on the growth of Italian zucchini radicles was

significantly higher than that of static noise and

the absence of sound.
