Abstract: For the birds to have their proper growth, it is of great importance that the owner is attentive to the welfare of the birds, which includes the supply of feed, water supply, lighting, temperature, ventilation, nutrition, vaccination and health. The purpose of the diet for broilers is to meet their nutritional needs during their life cycle. Food is the biggest cost in this production. It is known that in addition to proper management and nutrition, the use of light programs has been used to provide different environmental conditions in search of greater weight gain and better feed conversion. There are three classifications for the light programs, they are flashing, increasing and continuous light. This study aimed to report the case of four birds, two created with the light program and the other two without the use of this technique, to evaluate and compare the development of each group of birds.
