COMO OS ESTUDANTES DE UMA INSTITUIÇÃO DE ENSINO SUPERIOR PARTICULAR DE MANAUS PERCEBEM A QUESTÃO AMBIENTAL?
A temática ambiental tem se apresentado para toda a humanidade, como um dos grandes desafios do século XXI. Muito se fala, muito se estuda e muito se debate sobre o tema, seja nas academias, em congressos e em encontros de líderes mundiais. Em todos os segmentos, a pergunta que se estabelece é: que caminho seguir? Entendemos que, um dos caminhos para encontrar alternativas para a agressão ao meio ambiente, é o de desenvolver na humanidade o que se pode chamar de uma ética ecológica do cuidado. Esta ética ecológica do cuidado precisa ser cultivada, começando nas instituições de ensino, uma vez que nelas há oportunidade de gerar informações e desenvolver conhecimentos a respeito desse assunto. Sobretudo, através de projetos, torna-se possível desenvolver habilidades, competências e atitudes geradoras de valores como a ética ecológica do cuidado. Essa busca pode ser observada em uma Instituição de Ensino Superior de Manaus, que está empenhada em trabalhar conceitos relacionados ao meio ambiente, bem como, oportuniza vivências e experiências ambientais significativas, que desenvolvam nos futuros profissionais a consciência ambiental necessária para uma efetiva ética ecológica do cuidado. A pesquisa apresentada nesse artigo demonstra os grandes desafios que existem para que estes objetivos sejam alcançados.

Abstract:
The environmental theme has been presented to all of humanity as one of the great challenges of the 21st century. A lot is said, a lot is studied and a lot is debated on the subject, whether in academies, congresses or meetings of world leaders. In all segments, the question that arises is: which way to go? We understand that one of the ways to find alternatives to harm the environment is to develop in humanity what can be called an ecological ethic of care. This ecological ethic of care needs to be cultivated, starting in educational institutions, as they have the opportunity to generate information and develop knowledge about this subject. Above all, through projects, it becomes possible to develop skills, competences and attitudes that generate values such as the ecological ethics of care. This search can be observed in a Higher Education Institution in Manaus, which is committed to working on concepts related to the environment, as well as providing opportunities for significant environmental experiences, which develop in future professionals the environmental awareness necessary for an effective ecological ethics of the Caution. The research presented in this article demonstrates the great challenges that exist to achieve these goals.
