COMO É REPRESENTADO O NEGRO NO LIVRO DIDÁTICO DE GEOGRAFIA DO 3º ANO DO ENSINO MÉDIO
Este artigo tem como base a análise do livro didático de Geografia Sociedade e Cotidiano: espaço mundial volume 3 de Dadá Martins, Francisco Bigotto e Márcio Vitello, que tem seu foco nos textos verbais e não-verbais tendo como objetivo identificar como o negro é representado no livro didático e se há a existência de racismo ou alguma forma de preconceito. Usou a metodologia quantitativa para o levantamento de dados de textos verbais e não-verbais, utilizou a metodologia qualitativa para fazer a análise desses textos não-verbais. Nos resultados e discussões é apresentado a análise do livro dos textos não-verbais. Mostrou a necessidade do professor compreender as relações étnicos-raciais, tendo como uma base uma leitura crítica da realidade vivida, sendo um objeto de estudo da Geografia como as demais áreas que envolve o ensino.

Abstract:
This article is based on the analysis of the textbook on Geography Society and Daily Life: worldwide space volume 3 by Dadá Martins, Francisco Bigotto and Márcio Vitello, which focuses on verbal and non-verbal texts with the objective of identifying how black people are represented in the textbook and whether there is racism or some form of prejudice. It used the quantitative methodology to collect data from verbal and non-verbal texts, used the qualitative methodology to analyze these non-verbal texts. The results and discussions show the book's analysis of non-verbal texts. It showed the need for the teacher to understand ethnic-racial relations, based on a critical reading of the reality experienced, being an object of study of Geography like the other areas that involves teaching.
