• Abstract: Covid-19 was the pandemic experienced by Brazil and the world in the years 2020 to 2022, where social and state structures were put to the test, restructured and reorganized. Through documentary research, the research object of this work was the report produced by the Special Commission installed in the Legislative Assembly of Mato Grosso to talk about the return to in-person classes. To achieve the general objective of investigating the legal frameworks constructed from the Special Commission, it was necessary to describe the final report produced by the Commission, explain the legislative process within the Legislative Assembly of Mato Grosso and report the progress of the possible prepositions constructed. Concluding that the legislative power influenced the consequences left by the pandemic.
