COLONIALIDADE DE GÊNERO: (UM)A CONSOLIDAÇÃO DA DESIGUALDADE DE GÊNERO NO BRASIL.
O termo “colonialidade de gênero” cunhado por María Lugones, remete à estrutura de colonização da América do Sul, e reafirma o patriarcado, que envolve a imposição de determinado grupo sob outro, criando assim uma dominação entre colonizador e colonizado. Adentrando no aspecto homem e mulher, esta estrutura estratifica a inferiorização da mulher em seu papel social. No Brasil, esta construção patriarcal – eurocêntrica, procedente da colonização, também contribuiu para a dicotomia entre os gêneros, e mantém como referência cultural a necessidade de subalternização do outro, no caso, da mulher. Levando em conta essa estruturação, este estudo objetiva relacionar a desigualdade de gênero existente no Brasil com a forma de colonização realizada no país, e proporcionar reflexões acerca do impacto desta colonização na sociedade brasileira, e a dimensão com que tal evento atinge a vida da mulher em específico, pois a força do patriarcado, ainda presente na atualidade manteve a mulher como inferior e muitas vezes objeto do homem, inclusive com o uso da violência para determinar o sujeito dominador como superior frente ao sujeito dominado. O estudo se desenvolve sob o método bibliográfico de pesquisa, e busca relacionar fatores atuais que apontam para uma estratificação da desigualdade de gênero no país, e sua raiz colonial.

Abstract:
The term "coloniality of gender" coined by María Lugones, refers to the structure of colonization of South America, and reaffirms patriarchy, which involves the imposition of one group under another, creating a domination between colonizer and colonized. Entering the aspect of men and women, this structure stratifies the inferiorization of women in their social role. In Brazil, this patriarchal - eurocentric construction, coming from the colonization, also contributed to the dichotomy between the genders, and maintains as a cultural reference the need of subalternization of the other, in the case, of the woman. Taking into account this structure, this study aims to relate the gender inequality existing in Brazil with the form of colonization in the country, and to provide reflections about the impact of this colonization on Brazilian society, and the extent to which such an event affects the life of women in particular, because the force of patriarchy, still present today, has kept women as inferior and often objects of man, including the use of violence to determine the dominant subject as superior to the dominated subject. The study is developed under the bibliographic method of research and seeks to relate current factors that point to a stratification of gender inequality in the country, and its colonial roots. -
