Abstract: This work is engendered by the articulation between the psychological clinic referenced in Freudo-Lacanian psychoanalysis and musical education, with the objective of using music as a means of immersion in symbolic experiments. The objectives were supported by the review of productions about the use of music in clinical-educational workshops (author's articulation), as it is understood that where there is a focus on the subject there is a contextual inseparability, that is, clinical and musical education. Throughout the text, the aim is to review these ateliers, as well as music as a founding milestone in the subject's psychic structuring and to present to the reader an experience carried out at the Association of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional – APAE of the State of Santa Catarina. Along the way, it can be understood that interventions with autistic subjects demand the production of a bond and an extensive chain of interventions from the clinician and the educator, understanding the inseparable nature of praxis. Finally, it is understood that in order to have immersion in musical education, it is necessary to leave the homogeneous practice to make room for the subject's power, in other words, so that he can experience music in his own way, without it being a language given to be seized, but rather a space of creative power.
