Abstract: Effective teaching of Nursing Care Plans (NCPs) is fundamental to clinical practice, but it is often hindered by the complexity of the NANDA-I, NOC, and NIC taxonomies. Objective: To propose the implementation of the Flipped Classroom model to overcome barriers in teaching the NANDA-I (2024-2026), NOC, and NIC taxonomies. Materials and methods: A pre-experimental quantitative study was conducted with a final sample of 21 nursing students, using pre-test and post-test measurements. Results: The intervention achieved a significant increase in overall academic performance, raising the average correct answer rate from 44.75% to 92.65% (p < 0.001). Critical improvements were observed in diagnostic reasoning and mastery of the Glasgow Coma Scale (100% correct answer rate). Conclusion: The Flipped Classroom transforms the teacher into a clinical consultant and is highly effective in standardizing the learning of complex skills and fostering critical thinking.
