Abstract: Mental health care within health systems represents a significant challenge, requiring integrated, territorial, and qualified clinical practices. In this context, expanded clinical practice emerges as a key framework for reorganizing care, particularly within Primary Health Care and the Psychosocial Care Network. This study aims to analyze the role of expanded clinical practice in mental health management, emphasizing its articulation with matrix support, the Singular Therapeutic Project, and interprofessional work. This is a qualitative, bibliographic study guided by the cartographic method, focusing on the analysis of care production processes in mental health. The findings indicate that mental health management, when oriented by expanded clinical practice, is configured as a relational, territorial, and interdisciplinary process that goes beyond strictly biomedical approaches. The integration between Primary Health Care and specialized services, mediated by matrix support, enhances care continuity, strengthens the responsiveness of services, and reduces unnecessary referrals. It is concluded that expanded clinical practice contributes to more comprehensive, ethical, and contextsensitive care, reinforcing the production of health as a shared, dynamic, and territorially situated process.
