Abstract: Circus arts, present in millennial records of humanity, are often undervalued in school curricula, despite being great allies in a child's holistic education. According to Bortoleto (2016), the circus not only develops physical expression but also encompasses theater, dance, music, scenery, costume, logical and creative skills in a spectacle that offers numerous possibilities of themes and knowledge. It further promotes civic coexistence, collectivity, and respect. How can the circus be implemented in schools? This paper advocates for the integration of the circus universe in educational settings through Art classes, developing tools that contribute to the construction of pedagogical practices focused on appreciating the body, space, and diversity in the classroom. Considering space and resource feasibility, the study proposes the use of a Circus Kit, not limited to a single possibility but open to adaptations for each school context. We understand from this research that the circus teaches children to imagine, dream, play, laugh, and face risks—essential knowledge cultivated through communal living.
