Abstract: Talking about the democratization of cinema is thinking about how we can bring it to more people. We know that admission to the largest distribution networks is extremely expensive, and in addition, the number of Brazilian cities that have exhibition halls are very few. The main objective of this study is to insert Cinema in the teaching-learning process through a multidisciplinary vision as a means of bringing the student public closer to the audiovisual narrative. And with that, to introduce Cinema to students as a source of culture and knowledge transmitter agent, developing from the taste for Cinema, the critical, aesthetic and cultural sense about our locality, our country and the world in general. It is necessary to promote integration and social development, expanding the space for leisure and cultural enrichment for students at school, encouraging critical and appreciative training. If well aligned with other subjects, cinema at school can be applied in combination with a reading activity, which will strengthen another important pillar for student development. On these occasions, strategies will also be used to encourage the student to attend the cinema, providing a democratization of the same for students who never had the opportunity to know it.
