Abstract: The aim of this work is to develop a theme of feminist political cinema through a documentary. In order to enrich the discussion, this research approaches, not only gender, but also the intersectionality of social violence, such as oppression motivated by race and/or social class. The participation of women in the labor market represents an important achievement for financial independence and, not only is cinema a way of cultural expression, but it is also responsible for transmitting ideals and experiences. In this sense, the research prioritizes a critical analysis of the representativeness statistics made available by competent government agencies in the area and contextualizes the numbers’ implications in a patriarchal common sense, inside and outside audiovisual products. Having said that, it is possible to define the necessity of actions to transform cinema into a space of battle and diverse theories too. For that reason, the documentary offers an abstraction of alternative cinema, originated by plural narratives, considering its importance regarding society and culture. About the social expectation regarding behavior patterns and stigmas, it is expected to reach a reflective debate and a significant transformation in the film industry. In conclusion, the work aims to reveal and value women's experiences in the audiovisual production chain, elucidating the link between society and the seventh art, exposing the inevitability of cultural transgression.
