CINEMA, DIVERSIDADE E EXTENSÃO NA UNIVERSIDADE: DIÁLOGO POSSÍVEL.
Cabe à educação formal
oferecer aos alunos e à sociedade em geral
oportunidades de conhecer e aprender por
meio de outras linguagens. Uma delas é a
linguagem cinematográfica. Seu uso, como
prática educativa, facilita significativamente o
diálogo entre os conteúdos curriculares e os
conhecimentos gerais. É nesse contexto que
desenvolvemos o projeto de extensão “É papo
de cinema! UTFPR – cinediversidade, educação
e diversão”, na Universidade Tecnológica
Federal do Paraná – Campus Santa Helena.
Objetiva-se favorecer o acesso a acadêmicos,
servidores da Universidade e comunidade
circunvizinha à produção cinematográfica de
diferentes categorias e gêneros, que remetam
à temática da DIVERSIDADE social, racial,
étnica, sexual, cultural, educacional, a cultura
africana, afrodescendente, indígena e inclusiva
promovendo o debate, a reflexão e a discussão
sobre a mesma, visando contribuir para o
desenvolvimento da compreensão crítica do
mundo e das novas tecnologias midiáticas
por parte dos envolvidos, favorecendo o
conhecimento da área de ciências humanas
e a formação crítico-reflexiva dos mesmos,
a ampliação do seu repertório cultural, o
desenvolvimento da sua competência leitora e
o diálogo entre o currículo escolar dos cursos
ofertados pela Universidade e as questões
socioculturais mais amplas. Os Estudos Culturais
são o aporte teórico e a metodologia é a análise de conteúdo proposta por Bardin. Os
resultados indicam que as temáticas instigam discussões, promovem eventos e levam
os alunos e a comunidade a participar da atividade como enriquecimento curricular e
cultural para sua trajetória acadêmica e pessoal.

Abstract:
It is formal education for students and society in general opportunities to
learn and learn in other languages. One is a cinematic language. Its use, as an educational
practice, facilitates the choice between the curricular contents and general knowledge.
It is this context that develops the project of extension “It is talk of cinema! UTFPR -
Cinediversidade, Education e Diversity “, at the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do
Paraná - Campus Santa Helena. The objective is to promote access to academics,
university employees and community surrounding the cinematographic production of
different categories and genres, referring to the social, racial, ethnic, sexual, cultural,
educational, African, Afrodescendent, indigenous and including promoting debate,
reflection and discussion about it, aiming to contribute to the development of critical
understanding of the world and new media technologies by those involved, favoring
the knowledge of the area of human sciences and the critical-reflective formation of
the same , the expansion of its cultural repertoire, the development of its reading
competence and the dialogue between the school curricula of the courses offered by the
University and the wider sociocultural issues. The Cultural Studies are the theoretical
contribution and the methodology is the content analysis proposed by Bardin. The
results are how they instigate discussions, promote events and lead students and a
community to participate as a curricular and cultural enrichment for their academic and
personal trajectory.
