Abstract: Some topics in Biology are considered complex due to their nomenclature or the sequence of phenomena. Therefore, didactic models can optimize cognition. For visually impaired students, who are familiar with touch, models can be even more important. The aim was to listen to these students before and after each activity, regarding their perceptions, sensations, and learning. The methods used in 2022 and 2023 included: choosing topics with the class, an initial interview with the visually impaired student, conducting games and experimental lessons in the classroom or as an extracurricular activity, a final interview with the same student, and analysis of the responses. The results indicated that, through these actions, the interviewee developed four components: cognition; socialization; autonomy; correlation; and contextualization. By respecting pedagogical demands and the demands for inclusion, the entire class can benefit.
