CIDADANIA E DIREITOS NO AMBIENTE ESCOLAR: FORMANDO CIDADÃOS, TRANSFORMANDO REALIDADES ATRAVÉS DO ESTUDO DA DECLARAÇÃO UNIVERSAL DOS DIREITOS HUMANOS.
Este trabalho busca refletir sobre
temática de “Cidadania e Direitos no ambiente
escolar”. Nosso escopo principal é a leitura da
Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos,
entendendo que esta representa um marco
fundamental à transversalidade dos Direitos
Humanos dentro das disciplinas praticadas
na Escola. Como tentativa de enfrentar o
descompasso da falta de informação sobre
os Direitos Humanos, buscamos promover a
ideia da cidadania como condição fundamental
à construção de uma sociedade mais justa, o
que levaria ao respeito incondicional do acesso
ao mínimo existencial para a consolidação da
dignidade da pessoa humana. O desafio que
podemos verificar é justamente a realização de
dois princípios fundamentais que se encontram
exortados na Carta Constitucional de 1988,
por influência da Declaração Universal dos
Direitos Humanos: a dignidade e a cidadania.
E a solução geralmente apontada no processo
em discussão, lança sempre o olhar para
a Educação em Direitos Humanos, dado
o seu enorme potencial em formar não só
mentalidades, mas também comportamentos
e atitudes direcionadas para a efetivação da
dignidade da pessoa humana e da cidadania.
Se faz importante denotar que ação educativa
abrange não somente os sujeitos diretamente
envolvidos no cotidiano escolar, mas
também precisa contar com o apoio e com o
acompanhamento daqueles que constroem as
esferas de atuação dentro da escola a saber:
estudantes, professores, família e comunidade

Abstract:
This work seeks to reflect on the
theme of “Citizenship and Rights in the school
environment”. Our main scope is the reading
of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights,
understanding that it represents a fundamental
framework for the transversality of Human Rights
within the disciplines practiced in the School. As
an attempt to address the lack of information
on human rights, we seek to promote the
idea of citizenship as a fundamental condition
for building a more just society, which would
lead to unconditional respect for access to the
existential minimum for the consolidation of the
dignity of the person human. The challenge
that we can verify is precisely the realization of two fundamental principles that are
exhorted in the Charter of 1988, under the influence of the Universal Declaration of
Human Rights: dignity and citizenship. And the solution generally pointed out in the
process under discussion, always throws the eye on Human Rights Education, given
its enormous potential in forming not only mentalities, but also behaviors and attitudes
directed towards the realization of the dignity of the human person and of citizenship.
It is important to denote that educational action includes not only the subjects directly
involved in the daily school life, but also needs to have the support and follow-up of
those who build the spheres of action within the school namely: students, teachers,
family and community.
