CENTROS HISTÓRICOS E PASSEIOS: PROPOSTA DE PASSEIOS CULTURAIS PARA CRIANÇAS EM GUAYAQUIL, EQUADOR
El presente escrito se basa en la experiencia de otras ciudades que aprovechan sus espacios públicos y centros históricos con propuestas relacionadas con el uso lúdico de esos sitios, rescatando, de forma efectiva, diversos planteamientos relacionados con la arquitectura patrimonial, las leyendas y otras formas de generar interés en diferentes públicos.
El escrito inicia con una breve descripción de los centros históricos, como un lugar que comunica diferentes tipos de ideas hacia y desde el imaginario social, pasando por un resumen de cómo algunos centros históricos han sido creados, y como muchos de ellos se ha podido conservar casi inalterables, a pesar de conflictos o desastres naturales.
Luego continúa con el relato de lo que significa el centro histórico de Guayaquil, como ha sido definido y aproximadamente cuanto abarca, desde el punto de vista arquitectónico y patrimonial, pasando por un repaso de la llamada regeneración urbana de la ciudad y considerando algunos problemas relacionados con la gentrificación social del espacio colindante al centro histórico.
Finalmente, se realizan propuestas para poder utilizar, de forma lúdica, el espacio público y patrimonial, evitando caer en la excesiva monumentalidad, buscando la cohesión entre habitante local, turistas y patrimonio.

Abstract:
This writing is based on the experience of other cities that take advantage of their public spaces and historic centers with proposals related to the recreational use of these sites, effectively rescuing diverse approaches related to heritage architecture, legends and other forms of generate interest in different audiences.
The writing begins with a brief description of historical centers, as a place that communicates different types of ideas to and from the social imaginary, going through a summary of how some historic centers have been created, and how many of them have been preserved almost unalterable, despite conflicts or natural disasters.
Then continue with the story of what the historic center of Guayaquil means, as it has been defined and approximately what it covers, from the architectural and heritage point of view, going through a review of the so-called urban regeneration of the city and considering some related problems with the social gentrification of the space adjoining the historic center.
Finally, proposals are made to use, in a playful way, the public and patrimonial space, avoiding falling into excessive monumentality, seeking cohesion between local inhabitants, tourists and heritage.
