Abstract: Trauma in the region of the parotid gland can involve not only the gland, but also the duct system and may not present such obvious signs and symptoms during the immediate post-trauma evaluation. This article reports an urgent and emergency clinical case from a large hospital, victim of multiple stab wounds to the face, chest and abdomen. Male patient, 37 years old, on physical examination of the face, lacerations were noted in the regions of the nasal dorsum, upper lip, buccal mucosa and angle of the mandible on the left side. Patient denies having systemic comorbidities, using drugs, medications or allergies. He was taken to the operating room for facial sutures, exploratory laparotomy, left lateral thoracotomy and pneumorrhaphy. On the 11th postoperative day, there was an increase in volume on the left side of the face, absence of phlogistic or infectious signs, and absence of fever. During intraoral physical examination, during milking of the parotid gland, abundant drainage of salivary secretion was observed via a blunt lacerated wound in the buccal mucosa region, close to the opening of the parotid gland caruncle. With the suspicion of injury to the left Stenon's duct, the orifice of the caruncle was located and then a #8 urethral probe was inserted into the blunt laceration wound, checking the drainage of saliva via the cannula and fixed to the buccal mucosa with 4- nylon suture thread. 0, to reduce the increase in volume on the left side of the face.
