Abstract: Mammary carcinosarcoma is a rare mixed neoplasm in dogs and is characterized by highly aggressive behavior, rapid tumor growth, and marked metastatic potential, resulting in a poor prognosis. This study aimed to report a case of metastatic mammary carcinosarcoma in a female dog, describing its clinical and pathological findings. A 12-year-old mixed-breed female dog was presented with a history of multiple mammary alterations. Due to the severe clinical condition, the owner elected euthanasia, and the animal was submitted for necropsy, followed by histopathological examination of the lesions. Tumor proliferation was observed in all mammary glands, as well as extensive metastases in the lungs, liver, and spleen. Microscopic evaluation revealed two distinct neoplastic components, epithelial and mesenchymal, confirming the diagnosis of metastatic mammary carcinosarcoma. This case highlights the importance of considering this neoplasm among the differential diagnoses of mammary tumors in female dogs, particularly in presentations with marked systemic dissemination.
