CARACTERIZACIÓN Y RENDIMIENTO DE DOS MAÍCES CRIOLLOS POZOLEROS DE LOS ESTCARACTERIZACIÓN Y RENDIMIENTO DE DOS MAÍCES CRIOLLOS POZOLEROS DE LOS ESTADOS DE GUANAJUATO Y MICHOACÁN EN EL MUNICIPIO DE ZUMPANGO, ESTADO DE MÉXICOADOS DE GUANAJUATO Y MICHOACÁN EN EL MUNICIPIO DE ZUMPANGO, ESTADO DE MÉXICO
La evaluación de los componentes de rendimiento en campo y su respuesta a con los factores agroclimáticos nos indican la calidad genética de los materiales vegetativos en estudio, para esta investigación se estableció una parcela demostrativa en el Centro Universitario UAEM Zumpango, con el propósito de realizar el estudio agronómico a partir de sus componentes de rendimiento de dos Maíces criollos de los estados de Guanajuato y Michoacán y evaluar su comportamiento de adaptación y a partir del análisis de las siguientes variables: Altura de planta (AP); Altura a la primera mazorca (APM); Longitud de la hoja (LH); Longitud de la Mazorca (TM); Diámetro de la mazorca (DM) y Rendimiento (RTO) de acuerdo con la metodología de Muñoz en 1993 para el cálculo del rendimiento. Se utilizó una estadística descriptiva para obtener los valores de cada variables planteada y de esta manera, conocer la respuesta de estos materiales vegetativos y de los acuerdo con resultados obtenidos presentaron un comportamiento agronómico aceptable y obtuvieron un rendimiento para el de Guanajuato 350 Kg y 334 Kg respectivamente en la unidad experimental, por lo que puede ser una opción viable para Zumpango.

Abstract:
The evaluation of the yield components in the field and their response to the agroclimatic factors indicate the genetic quality of the vegetative materials under study. For this investigation, a demonstration plot was established at the UAEM Zumpango University Center, with the purpose of carrying out the agronomic study based on its yield components of two Creole corns from the states of Guanajuato and Michoacán and evaluating their adaptation behavior and based on the analysis of the following variables: Plant height (AP); Height at first ear (APM); Blade length (LH); Cob Length (MT); Ear diameter (DM) and Yield (RTO) according to the methodology of Muñoz in 1993 for the calculation of yield. Descriptive statistics were used to obtain the values of each variable raised and in this way, to know the response of these vegetative materials and according to the results obtained, they presented an acceptable agronomic behavior and obtained a yield for Guanajuato of 350 Kg and 334 Kg. respectively in the experimental unit, so it can be a viable option for Zumpango.
