CARACTERIZAÇÃO DA PESCA DO MAPARÁ (HYPOPHTHALMUS SPP.) NO LAGO MUTAÇAUA, COMUNIDADE BOCA DO ARAPIRÍ, ALENQUER-PA.
Esse estudo caracterizou a atividade
pesqueira relacionada à captura e venda do
mapará (Hypophthalmus spp.) no lago Mutaçaua,
comunidade Boca do Arapirí, Alenquer-Pará.
Os dados de biomassa foram estimados com
base nos registros de produção dos barcos
compradores entre os anos de 2014 a 2016.
A caracterização dos atores foi desenvolvida
a partir de entrevistas com os envolvidos por
meio de formulários semiestruturados durante
a “safra do mapará” de 2016. A maioria dos
pescadores é do sexo masculino, com idade
média de 24 (± 19,7) anos, possuem o ensino
fundamental incompleto e são sócios da Colônia
de Pescadores Z-28 (Alenquer-PA). A Renda
média foi estimada em R$400,00 (±R$ 233,00)
na safra. As canoas movidas a remo e barcos
compradores são as principais frotas que atuam
na pesca, e a rede de emalhar, denominada
de “maparazeira”, é o principal apetrecho
empregado nas pescarias. Outras espécies são
também capturadas durante a safra do mapará
nessa comunidade sendo: furinha (Pimelodina
flavipinnis) e pescada (Plasgiocion sp.). A maior
biomassa capturada no ano de 2014 foi para a
furinha (2.423kg) e pescada pequena (2.284kg),
vinda do barco J. Viana. Em 2015 se destacou a
pescada pequena (5.656kg), mapará (3.723kg)
e o furinha (3.096kg) compradas pelas duas
embarcações. Para 2016 o destaque foi para
a furinha (3393 kg) e mapará (1848kg). A
produção é destinada a cidade de Santarém-PA,
e vendida para o atravessador que comercializa
nos frigoríficos e mercados locais e caminhões
frigoríficos

Abstract:
This study characterized the
fishing activity related to the capture and sale
of mapará (Hypophthalmus spp.) in Mutaçaua
lake, Boca do Arapirí community, AlenquerPará. The biomass data were estimated based
on the production records of the buyers boats between the years 2014 to 2016. The characterization of the actors was developed
from interviews with those involved through semi-structured forms during the “mapará
harvest” of 2016. Most of the fishermen are male, with a mean age of 24 (± 19.7) years,
have incomplete elementary education and are partners of the fishermens Colony Z-28
(Alenquer-PA). The average income was estimated at R$ 400.00 (± R$ 233.00) in the
harvest. Rowing canoes and buyers boats are the main fleets that operate in the fishing,
and the gillnet, called “maparazeira”, is the main equipment used in the fisheries. Other
species are also captured during the mapará harvest in this community: furinha, furacalça, mandirá (Pimelodina flavipinnis) and pescada (Plasgiocion sp.). The largest
biomass harvested in 2014 was for the furinha (2.423kg) and small pescada (2,284kg),
coming from the boat J. Viana. In 2015 the small hake (5,656kg), mapará (3,723kg)
and the furinha (3.096kg) bought by the two vessels were highlighted. For 2016 the
highlight was for the furinha (3393 kg) and mapará (1848 kg). The production is destined
to the city of Santarém-PA, and sold to the trader who trades in the local refrigerators
and markets and refrigerated trucks
