CARACTERIZAÇÃO DA COMUNIDADE DE MICROALGAS EM UM TRECHO DO RIO JAGUARIBE-ARACATI-CE
Durante vários anos o rio Jaguaribe
vem sofrendo um processo de degradação
ambiental, em maior parte devido às ações
antrópicas, que utiliza esse ambiente de forma
indiscriminada sem se ater as alterações
ocorridas. Essas alterações podem ser
analisadas através do estudo da comunidade
algal, isso porque a vida desses organismos
causa respostas rápidas às variações dos
ambientes. Com o objetivo de verificar algumas
dessas alterações esse estudo visou identificar
os táxons de macroalgas do perifíton, em termos
de abundancia e frequência em um trecho do Rio
Jaguaribe. Forem realizadas coletas mensais
em dois pontos distintos (Ponto 1- Barreiras dos
Vianas e Ponto 2- Boca do Forno), de janeiro
a abril de 2016. Esse trecho do rio Jaguaribe
apresentou pouca diversidade de espécies
de microalgas perifíticas, estando constituída
por 19 táxons divididos nas seguintes classes
de acordo com o ponto de coleta: Ponto 1
(13 espécies) - Bacillariophyceae (54%),
Chlorophyceae (27%) e Cyanophyceae (19%) e
Ponto 2 (10 espécies) - Bacillariophyceae (94%),
Chlorophyceae (3%) e Dinophyceae (3%).
A composição das microalgas perifíticas foi
representada pelas classes Bacillariophyceae,
Chlorophyceae, Cyanophyceae e Dinophyceae,
sendo melhor representada pela classe
Bacillariophyceae, por possuir capacidade de
fixação no substrato, mesmo com as mudanças
ocorridas no ambiente.

Abstract:
For several years the Jaguaribe
river has undergone process of environmental
degradation, mainly due to the anthropic actions,
that uses this environment of indiscriminate
way without keeping the changes occurred.
These changes can be analyzed through the
study of the algal community, because the life
of these organisms causes rapid responses
to the variations of the environments. In order
to verify some of these alterations this study
aimed to identify the macroalgal taxa of the periphyton in terms of abundance and
frequency in a section of the Jaguaribe River. Monthly collections are carried out in
two distinct points (Point 1 - Barriers of the Vianas and Point 2- Boca do Forno), from
January to April 2016. This stretch of the Jaguaribe river presented little diversity of
species of periphytic microalgae, being constituted by 19 taxes (Bacillariophyceae)
(54%), Chlorophyceae (27%) and Cyanophyceae (19%) and Point 2 (10 species) -
Bacillariophyceae (94%), Chlorophyceae (3%) and Dinophyceae (3%). The composition
of the periphytic microalgae was represented by the classes Bacillariophyceae,
Chlorophyceae, Cyanophyceae and Dinophyceae, being better represented by the
class Bacillariophyceae, because it has ability of fixation in the substrate, even with the
changes occurred in the environment.
