CARACTERIZAÇÃO DA ATIVIDADE MOVELEIRA NA CIDADE DE OURÉM, PA
A indústria moveleira está distribuída por todo o território nacional, apresentando diferentes características entre si. Deste modo, objetivou-se realizar uma análise quali-quantitativa da atividade moveleira no município de Ourém, Pará. Para isso, foram aplicados questionários semiestruturados em 5 movelarias, abordando questões sobre fonte de renda, espécies madeireiras utilizadas, móveis produzidos, destino dos resíduos e madeira certificada. Após análise dos dados verificou-se que 60% dos entrevistados têm as movelarias como principal fonte de renda. As espécies mais utilizadas nas movelarias são a Timborana e Sucupira. Todos os entrevistados relataram não possuir curso técnico ou outro tipo de especialização, e somente 40% tem interesse em se especializar. O nível técnico dos funcionários influencia na qualidade do produto final e no valor agregado. Portanto, as movelarias analisadas são informais e com mão-de-obra pouco especializada. É necessário pensar em uma reformulação do processo produtivo e na capacitação dos funcionários.

Abstract:
The furniture industry is distributed throughout the national territory, presenting different characteristics among themselves. Thus, the objective was to carry out a qualitative and quantitative analysis of furniture activity in the municipality of Ourém, Pará. For this, semi-structured questionnaires were applied in 5 furniture industry, addressing questions about the source of income, used wood species, furniture produced, destination of residues and certified wood. After analyzing the data, it was found that 60% of respondents have furniture industry as their main source of income. The species most used in furniture making are Timborana and Sucupira. All respondents reported not having a technical course or other type of specialization, and only 40% are interested in specializing. The technical level of the employees influences the quality of the final product and the added value. Therefore, the furniture industry analyzed are informal and with unskilled labor. It is necessary to think about a reformulation of the production process and the training of employees.
