CARACTERIZAÇÃO DA ALOPECIA CAPILAR QUANTO AOS ASPECTOS MULTICAUSAIS
Introdução: A alopecia se caracteriza pela falta de cabelo ou pelo em alguma área do corpo. É uma patologia que atinge ambos os sexos afetando o estado emocional, principalmente em mulheres, por ser o cabelo, o símbolo de beleza e sensualidade. Não há danos à saúde do corpo, porém, traz consequências emocionais, por afetar bastante a autoestima da pessoa. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo de abordagem qualitativa, para a identificação de produções sobre alopecia, seus aspectos multicausais e fatores associados. Resultados e discussão: Verificou-se que os pelos crescem em fases cíclicas, em proporções diferentes para diferentes partes do corpo. Essas fases representam os três estádios pelos quais o folículo piloso passa ao longo do seu desenvolvimento, ou seja, proliferação, involução e repouso. O mecanismo que leva ao desenvolvimento desta patologia dificulta a definição de uma alternativa de tratamento que garanta ao mesmo tempo segurança, eficácia e adesão ao tratamento. Conclusão: A etiologia da alopecia ainda não está bem definida, podendo estar relacionada com fatores genéticos, hormonais e com outras patologias. São raras as opções terapêuticas.

Abstract:
Introduction: Alopecia is characterized by lack of hair or hair in some area of the body. It is a pathology that affects both sexes affecting the emotional state, especially in women, as hair is the symbol of beauty and sensuality. There is no damage to the health of the body, however, it has emotional consequences, as it greatly affects the person's self-esteem. Methodology: This is a qualitative study to identify productions about alopecia, its multi-causal aspects and associated factors. Results and discussion: It was found that hair grows in cyclical stages, in different proportions for different parts of the body. These phases represent the three stages through which the hair follicle passes through its development, that is, proliferation, involution and rest. The mechanism that leads to the development of this pathology makes it difficult to define an alternative treatment that guarantees both safety, efficacy and adherence to treatment. Conclusion: The etiology of alopecia is not yet well defined, and may be related to genetic, hormonal factors and other pathologies. Therapeutic options are rare. -
