Capilaroscopia periungueal em pacientes portadores de HIV/AIDS
A microcirculação é uma densa rede de pequenos vasos onipresentes no corpo humano. Este é o único sistema que permite a troca de gases no sangue e é capaz de regular a hemodinâmica. A Capilaroscopia Periungueal é um exame não invasivo, seguro e de fácil execução para estudar a função e a morfologia da microcirculação. Ela consiste na visualização in vivo da rede microvascular da região periungueal. Além de causar imunodeficiência, o HIV induz um estado pró-inflamatório no endotélio vascular com diversas manifestações no organismo. O estudo tem por objetivo avaliar as alterações morfológicas da microcirculação periungueal nos pacientes HIV positivos através da capilaroscopia periungueal, já que a microcirculação reflete as alterações endoteliais. Concluiu-se que os pacientes HIV positivos não apresentam alterações morfológicas específicas na microcirculação.

Abstract:
Microcirculation is a dense network of small, ubiquitous vessels in the human body. This is the only system that allows the exchange of gases in the blood and is able to regulate hemodynamics. Nailfold Capillaroscopy is a noninvasive, safe and easy to perform examination to study the function and morphology of the microcirculation. It consists of the in vivo visualization of the microvascular network of the nailfold region. In addition to causing immunodeficiency, HIV induces a pro-inflammatory state in the vascular endothelium with various manifestations in the body. The aim of the study was to evaluate the morphological alterations of the nailfold microcirculation in HIV-positive patients through the nailfold capillaroscopy, since the microcirculation reflects the endothelial changes. It was concluded that HIV positive patients do not present specific morphological alterations in the microcirculation.
