CAPACIDADE DE SALMONELLA SCHWARZENGRUND DE CAUSAR MORTALIDADE EM EMBRIÕES E PINTOS DE CORTE INOCULADOS EXPERIMENTALMENTE VIA CÂMARA DE AR
Objetivou-se investigar a capacidade de Salmonella Schwarzengrund de causar mortalidade em embriões e pintos de frango de corte inoculados na incubação. Foram incubados 100 ovos férteis, divididos em: Tratamento 1 (controle): ovos inoculados com solução salina. Tratamento 2 (contaminado): ovos inoculados com Salmonella na câmara de ar. Após a eclosão, foram criados 30 pintos de cada tratamento. Salmonella Schwarzengrund determinou alta mortalidade nos embriões e nos pintos do grupo inoculado.

Abstract:
The objective was to investigate the ability of Salmonella Schwarzengrund to cause mortality in embryos and broiler chicks inoculated in the incubation. 100 fertile eggs were divided into: Treatment 1 (control): eggs inoculated with saline solution. Treatment 2 (contaminated): eggs inoculated with Salmonella in the air space. After hatching, 30 chicks were created from each treatment. Salmonella Schwarzengrund determined high mortality in the embryos and chicks of the inoculated group.
