CAMINHOS PARA EMANCIPAÇÕES: DISTRITOS E AGLOMERADOS RURAIS DE BURITIZEIRO – MG
A lógica capitalista, sempre
acompanhada da ideologia moderna ocidental e
da globalização neoliberal, gera consequências
menos ou mais perversas aos lugares onde
atravessa. Em determinadas regiões, algumas
das consequências deste processo são as
expropriações de pessoas, o cerceamento
de modos de vida e a crescente restrição na
autonomia dos sujeitos locais para a atuação e
direcionamento de diretrizes em seus próprios
territórios. As denominadas áreas rurais, quando
vistas como interessantes ao capital, sofrem
com as práticas intensivas e homogeneizantes
de modernização do campo, e quando pouco
interessantes, são negligenciadas e colocadas à
margem dos processos econômicos e políticos.
Diante das atuais atuações e articulações entre
o Instituto Rondon Minas, a Fundação Caio
Martins e a Prefeitura Municipal no município de
Buritizeiro, este trabalho busca compreender os
processos históricos e as diversas realidades
presentes no município de Buritizeiro como
forma de imaginar caminhos que auxiliem as
diretrizes e projetos pensados para o município,
principalmente em relação aos distritos e
demais aglomerados rurais.

Abstract:
The capitalist logic, always
accompanied by modern western ideology
and neoliberal globalization, produces less or
more perverse consequences to the places
where it crosses. In some regions, some of
the consequences of this process are the
expropriation of people, the curtailment of
lifestyles, and the growing restriction on the
autonomy of local individuals to act and direct
directives in their own territories. The socalled
rural areas, when viewed as interesting
to the capital, suffer from the intensive and
homogenizing practices of modernization of
the countryside, and when they are not very
interesting, are neglected and placed on the
fringes of economic and political processes.
In view of the present actions and articulations
between the Rondon Minas Institute, the Caio
Martins Foundation and the City Hall in the
municipality of Buritizeiro, this work seeks to
understand the historical processes and the
different realities present in the municipality
of Buritizeiro as a way of imagining ways that will help the guidelines and projects
designed for the municipality, mainly in relation to the districts and other agglomerates
rural.
