CAFEICULTURA EM RONDÔNIA: MODERNIZAÇÃO E SUBORDINAÇÃO AO MERCADO
O estado de Rondônia é o principal
produtor de café na Amazônia, além de estar
entre os maiores do país. Essa atividade
tornou-se uma das principais para os
agricultores familiares, promovendo constante
transformação espacial. Atualmente, a partir de
2010, um processo de modernização técnica
tem sido desenvolvida a partir da atuação de
agentes do círculo de cooperação, contribuindo
para maior espacialidade da atividade no
circuito espacial de produção do café. A
atuação desses agentes tem contribuído com
a subordinação dos agricultores familiares ao
mercado, principalmente com o Estado atuando
como um agente do capital. Como forma de
livrar-se dessa subordinação, uma alternativa
aos agricultores seria a organização coletiva,
atuando com maior autonomia e protagonismo
dentro do circuito espacial de produção do café.

Abstract:
The state of Rondônia is the main
producer of coffee in the Amazon, besides being
among the largest in the country. This activity
has become the main one for the family farmers,
promoting constant spatial transformation.
Nowadays, since 2010, a process of technical
modernization has been developed based on
the work of agents of the cooperation circle,
contributing to increase the spatiality of the
activity in the circuit of coffee production. The
performance of these agents, however, has
contributed to the subordination of family
farmers to the market, especially because the
state has been acting as an agent of capital. As
a way to avoid this subordination, an alternative
to farmers would be the collective organization,
acting with more autonomy and protagonism
within the circuit of coffee production..
