Abstract: This research analyzes the impact of Venezuela's multifactorial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic on the Universidad Metropolitana (UNIMET), affecting its academic efficiency and student enrollment. Its main objective was to design a resilient supply chain model tailored to the educational sector to strengthen the processes of student recruitment, retention, and graduation, aligning with SDGs 4 (quality education) and 9 (innovation). Using a qualitative methodology and a case study, tools such as the Ishikawa diagram and the SWOT matrix were employed. The findings revealed that, despite a decrease in pre-registrations, UNIMET significantly improved its final enrollment rate. This is attributed to resilient strategies such as the digitalization of processes (with SAP® and Moodle®), the diversification of socioeconomic support, and a focus on student well-being. The research concludes that conceiving an educational institution as a supply chain offers an innovative and viable framework for management. This model integrates the value chain with those of teaching and research, allowing it not only to react to disruptions but also to thrive in environments of chronic uncertainty, thereby contributing to the field of operations management in non-traditional sectors.
