Abstract: The increasing complexity of organizational environments has intensified the need for tools that support data-driven decision-making. In this context, Business Intelligence (BI) stands out as an approach capable of transforming data into strategic information, contributing to the improvement of organizational management. This study aims to analyze the application of Power BI as a decision support tool in the management of Occupational Health and Safety processes in a research institution. The methodology adopted is characterized as applied, with a qualitative approach, based on the collection, processing, and analysis of data from spreadsheets related to the main processes of the sector, including training and workplace accidents. From this data, interactive dashboards were developed in Power BI, enabling the integration, organization, and dynamic visualization of information. The results show significant improvements in the analysis of indicators, the speed of access to information, and the ability to monitor processes. The identification of relevant patterns is noteworthy, such as the relationship between low participation in training and a higher incidence of accidents, enabling the implementation of more targeted preventive actions. Furthermore, greater efficiency was observed in planning and resource allocation, contributing to the reduction of errors and optimization of processes. It is concluded that the application of Business Intelligence through Power BI constitutes an effective tool for improving management in Occupational Health and Safety, promoting more assertive and data-driven decision-making, in addition to presenting potential for replication in other organizations with similar characteristics.
