BRIÓFITAS OCORRENTES NO PARQUE ECOLÓGICO CACHOEIRA DO URUBU, ESPERANTINA-PIAUÍ, BRASIL
As briófitas são plantas pequenas e delicadas que habitam preferencialmente lugares úmidos e sombreados, possui alternância de gerações que correspondem às fases esporofítica e gametofítica. O objetivo deste estudo foi realizar o levantamento florístico de briófitas no Parque Ecológico “Cachoeira do Urubu”, Esperantina, Piauí, Brasil. Foram realizadas coletas no mês de Julho de 2015 e Maio e Outubro de 2016. Foram identificadas 13 táxons, distribuídos nas famílias: Bryaceae (1sp.), Bartramiaceae (1sp.), Calymperaceae (1sp.), Dicranaceae (1sp.), Fissidentaceae (2spp.), Pottiaceae (2spp.), Sematophyllaceae (1sp.), Stereophyllaceae (1sp.), Ricciaceae (2 spp.) e Notothyladaceae (1sp.). Os táxons são contemplados referências de descrições, figuras e distribuição geográfica. O estudo contribuiu com duas novas ocorrências para o Estado do Piauí.

Abstract:
Bryophytes are small and delicate plants that preferably inhabit humid and shaded places, alternating generations that correspond to the sporophytic and gametophytic phases. The objective of this study was to carry out the floristic survey of bryophytes in the Ecological Park “Cachoeira do Urubu”, Esperantina, Piauí State, Brazil. Collections were performed in July 2015 and May and October 2016. Thirtteen taxa were identified, distributed in families: Bryaceae (1sp.), Bartramiaceae (1sp.), Calymperaceae (1sp.), Dicranaceae (1sp.), Fissidentaceae (2spp.), Pottiaceae (2spp.), Sematophyllaceae (1sp.), Stereophyllaceae (1sp.), Ricciaceae (2 spp.) and Notothyladaceae (1sp.). Taxons include references to descriptions, figures and geographic distribution. The study contributed to two new occurrences for the Piauí State.
