BRINQUEDO TERAPÊUTICO: COMPREENDENDO O SIGNIFICADO DE SER PORTADORA DO VÍRUS DA IMUNODEFICIÊNCIA HUMANA PARA A CRIANÇA.
Objetivo: Compreender o significado de ser portadora do vírus HIV para a criança de três a sete anos por meio do Brinquedo terapêutico (BT). Método: Pesquisa exploratória, qualitativa, realizada com quatro crianças portadoras de HIV de uma creche do município de São Paulo, observadas durante uma sessão de BT, utilizando-se a técnica de conteúdo de Bardin para a análise dos dados. Resultados: Sete categorias foram identificadas: “Explorando os brinquedos para começar a dramatizar suas vivências”; “Convivendo com o medo e o desconforto durante o tratamento”; “Sentindo-se livre para expressar a agressividade”; “Enfrentando o preconceito de ser soropositivo”; “Dramatizando as situações de perda relacionadas à doença”; “Revivendo momentos bons relacionados ao hospital”; “Não querendo interromper a brincadeira”. Considerações finais: O BT propiciou à criança refletir sobre sua experiência e as dificuldades enfrentadas com o tratamento, o medo de estar doente, o preconceito e as perdas vivenciadas.

Abstract:
Objective: Understand the meaning of being HIV-positive for the 3- to 7-YearOld child through the TP. Method: Descriptive exploratory research, qualitative, held in a nongovernmental nonprofit day care center, located in São Paulo, with four children with HIV, being observed in a TP session. The transcript of the sessions was analyzed through Bardin content technique. Results: Seven categories were identified: “Exploring the toys start to dramatize their experiences”; “Living with fear and discomfort during treatment”; “Feeling free to express aggression”; “Facing the prejudice of being seropositive”; “Dramatizing the loss situations related to the disease”; “Reliving good times related to the hospital”; “Not willing to interrupt the game”. Final considerations: The TP led the child to reflect on their own experience, the difficulties faced with the treatment, the fear of being sick, the prejudice and the losses experienced.
