BRIEF REFLECTION ON THE ADOPTION AND CULTURE OF INSTITUTIONALIZATION
O trabalho em questão intitulado “Breve reflexão sobre Adoção e a cultura da institucionalização”, trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, com abordagem qualitativa, de caráter descritivo. Quanto ao método, a pesquisa foi fundamentada no método hipotético-dedutivo. O trabalho teve como objetivo demonstrar por meio de bases teóricas a realidade da adoção no Brasil e a cultura da Institucionalização frente à importância da convivência familiar no processo de adoção. O conteúdo desta produção está subdividido em dois capítulos: o processo histórico da institucionalização e o segundo tratando da institucionalização à adoção. Assim, foram trabalhados autores como: Gina Levinzon (2005); Ana Maux (2010); Bittencourt (2010) e Marina (2003). Percebeu-se que com base nas teorias, a adoção é permeada por uma herança cultural de preconceito e uma forte institucionalização que prejudica os jovens e crianças que permanecem em abrigos a serem adotados. Apesar da Nova Lei da Adoção ainda assim, a mesma é um processo demorado como também o processo de avaliação de reinserção a família de origem.

Abstract:
The work in question entitled “Brief reflection on Adoption and the culture of institutionalization”, is a bibliographic research, with a qualitative approach, of a descriptive character. As for the method, the research was based on the hypothetical-deductive method. The work aimed to demonstrate, through theoretical bases, the reality of adoption in Brazil and the culture of Institutionalization in view of the importance of family life in the adoption process. The content of this production is divided into two chapters: the historical process of institutionalization and the second dealing with institutionalization to adoption. Thus, authors such as: Gina Levinzon (2005); Ana Maux (2010); Bittencourt (2010) and Marina (2003). It was noticed that based on the theories, adoption is permeated by a cultural heritage of prejudice and a strong institutionalization that harms young people and children who remain in shelters to be adopted. Despite the New Adoption Law, it is still a lengthy process as well as the process of reintegration into the family of origin.
