BREVE INTRODUCCIÓN A FICOFLORA DE CUATRO SITIOS CON LITORAL COSTERO EN EL CARIBE SUR DE COSTA RICA
Las algas marinas en los sublitorales del Caribe Sur de Costa Rica son un componente focal, que a pesar de su importancia está muy poco estudiado. En la presente se exponen una breve reseña de los trabajos que sobre este ecosistema se realizan. Se determina que, aunque existe una tendencia que permiten interpretar información, son necesarios aun vincular un mayor número de datos para establecer criterios de manejo.

Abstract:
Seaweed in the sublittorals of the Southern Caribbean of Costa Rica are a focal component, which despite its importance is very little studied. Herein is a brief review of the work carried out on this ecosystem. It is determined that although there is a trend that allows information to be interpreted, it is still necessary to link a greater number of data to establish management criteria.
