Abstract: This scoping review aims to map, describe, and synthesize the existing knowledge about whiteness in the health sector, while also identifying the limitations of the studies. Its corpus comprises 24 manuscripts indexed in five databases, published between 2012 and 2022. The sample includes articles, dissertations, e- books, and editorials. The findings demonstrate that the theme experienced a surge in 2020 and then fluctuated. The Southeast Region has been hegemonizing the debate, followed by the Northeast, but there is a vacuum in the Northeast region. Health professionals, especially doctors, were the only respondents to the investigations, while users, members of Social Control, and managers were not surveyed. Approaches with quantitative approaches are scarce. Training health professionals was identified as the most effective mechanism for tackling the problem.
