Abstract: With advances in science and animal welfare allowing the development of modern techniques for anesthetic and surgical procedures in small animal medicine, locoregional blocks have been widely used today to obtain multimodal anesthesia, due to their greater safety. even for patients with comorbidities and the ability to considerably reduce the use of general anesthetics and other systemic medications during surgical procedures. Brachial plexus block makes it possible to perform several surgical procedures distal to the scapulohumeral joint.
