BENEFITS OF THE PREOPERATIVE VISIT OF THE NURSE OF THE SURGICAL CENTER FOR THE RECOVERY OF THE PATIENT IN THE POSTOPERATIVE PERIOD
Objetivo: Analisar a produção cientifica brasileira sobre os benefícios da visita pré-operatória do enfermeiro do centro cirúrgico para a recuperação do paciente no pós-operatório. Método: A metodologia utilizada para elaboração deste trabalho foi a revisão bibliográfica. Resultados e Discussão: a visita pré-operatória adequada traz inúmeros benefícios para o paciente no pós-operatório, pois o paciente bem informado sobre a sua cirurgia encara este procedimento de forma mais tranquila e confiante, o que resulta numa recuperação pós-operatória mais rápida, evitando o risco de complicações psicoemocionais no pós-operatório. Conclusão: Nesse contexto, a visita pré-operatória realizada pelo enfermeiro do centro cirúrgico contribui para redução da ansiedade, medo do desconhecido, insegurança e desconforto pós-operatório; facilita a adaptação do cliente cirúrgico ao ambiente hospitalar e aumenta a confiança do paciente no enfermeiro. Ainda, o indivíduo bem informado participa mais ativamente das intervenções destinadas a estimular a sua própria recuperação pós-operatória, o que melhora sua capacidade de adaptação e autocontrole, além de prevenir complicações pós-operatórias psicoemocionais.

Abstract:
Objective: To analyze Brazilian scientific production about the benefits of nurse preoperative visit the operating room to the recovery of the patient postoperatively. Method: The methodology used for the preparation of this work was the literature review. Results and Discussion: proper preoperative visit brings numerous benefits to the patient in the postoperative period because the patient well informed about your surgery takes this more relaxed and confident manner of procedure, which results in a faster postoperative recovery avoiding the risk of psycho-emotional complications in the postoperative period. Conclusion: In this context, the preoperative visit by the nurse of the surgical center contributes to reducing anxiety, fear of the unknown, insecurity and postoperative discomfort; facilitates the adaptation of the surgical hospital customer and increases the confidence of the patient in the nurse. Still, the well-informed individual participates more actively in measures to stimulate their own postoperative recovery, which improves their ability to adapt and self-control, and to prevent postoperative complications psycho-emotional.
